In this episode our guest Narelle Fraser discusses some cases that may trigger, these include violent crimes and crimes against children. Please be cautious of those listening to this episode.
Narelle Fraser was a part of Victoria Police for 27 years. 15 of those with the Rape, Homicide and Missing Persons Unit. Dedicating much of her time to investigating child abuse and sex offences.
Narelle has worked on some of Victoria’s most high profile cases including ‘Mornington Monster’ ‘Body in the boot’ and ‘The Box Hill Rapist’. Narelle chats with us about some of those cases, her mental health struggles in particular with PTSD and how she fought back to thrive the way she is now.
We also speak about sexual harassment in the force while Narelle was a member and how things are improving to help officers struggling.
Narelle also speaks on some of the more funny, light hearted moments in her time in the force.
